Time For A Beer.
Several people have said that drinking one to two beers a day may help lower your risk of Heart Disease. Beer may be as effective at improving general heart health as wine at certain alcohol levels. Also better blood sugar control, stronger bones, and reduced dementia risk. Moderate drinking may boost your immune system and help fight off infections. Research from Oregon Health & Science University found that people who drank alcohol — in moderation — had a reduced risk of death. The moderate use of alcohol by healthy adults basically means up to one drink a day for women and up to two drinks a day for men. Examples of one drink include Beer: 12 fluid ounces (355 milliliters) and Wine: 5 fluid ounces. (148 milliliters)

Anything Good Always Has A Downside.
Beer can cause changes in the function of your kidneys and makes them less able to filter the blood. Beer also affects the ability to regulate fluid and electrolytes in the body. When alcohol dehydrates (dries out) the body, the drying effect can affect the normal function of cells and organs, including the kidneys. The alcohol in beer can do harm to your liver. Drinking beer and taking medications that can harm the liver might increase the risk of liver damage. You should not drink beer if you are taking a medication that can harm the liver. Limit your alcohol consumption so you can prevent high blood pressure. If you drink, limit your alcohol consumption to no more than two drinks per day for men and no more than one drink per day for women. A drink is one 12 oz. beer. According to the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, drinking in the moderate or low-risk range for women is around three drinks in any one day and no more than seven drinks per week. For men, it is no more than four drinks a day and around 14 drinks per week.

Why Do Guys Like Beer So Much?
Male Bonding: One of the most common reasons that guys love beer is that it plays a key role in male bonding and creating a sense of community, and it’s just something fun to do when you are out with your friends. This socializing has been shown to release endorphins, which improve mood. Even though many of us are athletic, and we try to keep ourselves in shape, there is nothing wrong with going out, staying home with a few friends, and having a few beers.
